OKAY KIDS
here's my New Year present to you~ ♥
BTW this is SNOW only. Sorry guys.

Yamapi closes his eyes as he reclines on his bed, finally having some time off. He adjusts his headphones and smiles.

He’s listening to Care.

He finally begins to drift into dreams - the kind in which Jin comes back and Yamapi tells him that he loves him, just like he always meant to, just never got the chance to make Jin understand that every time he said it, it meant more than the best friend way they were used to. Yamapi tells him he loves him, and Jin smiles and tells Yamapi that he’s always loved him, and they stay together forever. The corny kind of dreams that Yamapi doesn’t mind at all – just wishes they weren’t only dreams.

When Yamapi’s cell phone rings just when dream Jin is looking at him with deep eyes full of love and maybe lust, Yamapi is pulled back to reality, the reality in which Jin is on the other side of the world and oblivious to Yamapi’s feelings.

“What.” Yamapi already hates whoever’s calling.

“Pi?”

Never mind.

“Jin!”

“I got your DVD,” Jin says happily, finally putting down the remote. He’d pressed stop and immediately whipped out his phone to dial Pi, and five minutes after pressing the button thought it might be a good idea to put the thing down. “You looked great.”

“You got it already?” Yamapi asks excitedly. It had only been a few days since he’d sent Jin a video of NEWS’ performance on Music Station.

“You looked great,” Jin says again, and Yamapi misses the wistful tone of Jin’s voice in his excitement. “We did, didn’t we?” Yamapi gushes. “NEWS. NEWS. I love us. I wish you could see us; the atmosphere is high and we’d make you happy.”

Jin kind of feels like his heart is a guitar and one of the strings snapped. There’s an awkward pause in the conversation during which Yamapi worries that he’s said something he shouldn’t have, and finally Jin speaks. “It’s raining,” he declares solemnly. “It never rains here, not really. But when it does, everyone freaks out. It’s like people forget how to drive when it rains, isn’t that weird?”

“It was snowing a bit ago,” Yamapi adds slowly.

“Snow, huh?” This time, Yamapi does hear the longing in Jin’s voice.

“When you come back, we’ll play in the snow, okay? Just like when we were kids,” Yamapi says.

“We’re always talking about when we were kids recently,” Jin replies, and Yamapi can hear – no, feel Jin’s smile.

“When you’re back, we’ll go and dive into snow and make snow angels and throw snowballs,” Yamapi promises, and the thought makes him happy. He thinks the feeling is mostly derived from thinking “when you’re back”; he’s so wrapped up in his own thoughts he barely catches what Jin’s saying underneath his breath.

“When I’m back, we’re not going to be spending our time outside-”

“What?”

“Nothing,” Jin says quickly.

Yamapi looks out the window and smiles. It would be nice if snow fell, wouldn’t it.

--so I totally love how this has no plot. A snapshot, if you will.

Aww. It doesn't need plot; it's a sweet little snapshot. I really like it.

Okay, I have this very strange way of using this week's theme... You might not even notice, but the words are there! Oh, and please don't kill after reading this...

Yamapi’s eyes darted across the room to where Jin stood, stretching his lean, athletic body awake. His eyes followed the older boy’s soft curves from his jaw, down his neck, over his shoulders to the arc of his back and then... Yamapi closed his eyes tightly and licked his lips nervously. If Jin noticed his best friend was checking him out, Pi would never be allowed to sleep in the same room again, let alone in the same bed.

"Ne, Pi-chan, are you awake?" Jin asked and Yamapi tried to swallow a squeal by burrowing his face in the pillow. Jin’s pillow. Where Jin’s scent still lingered. Yamapi groaned. So much for subtlety. "Pi-chan?" Jin called again, amusement noticeable in his voice.

And then Jin jumped on the bed, nearly on top of Yamapi and, this time, the younger boy actually squealed loud and high-pitched before grabbing at the blankets and wrapping them tightly around him in attempt to cover his... feelings. It was supposed to be a good move, except the shifting of the covers caused Jin to loose his balance and fall on top of Yamapi which caused the latter to panic and squeal even louder, that is until Jin’s hand found its way to Yamapi’s mouth and silenced him.

"Shht! Someone’s going to think I’m trying to rape you or something." Jin shushed him.

Yamapi’s eyes widened and he felt himself turn as pale as snow. His breath hitched in his throat and, when Jin moved to get up and his hip came to press against a certain blood engorged part of Yamapi, a low moan escaped his lips. That was it, it was all over, Jin would never...

Jin blinked, frowned, moved his hips tentatively and then gasped in realisation.

THE END!

"Shht! Someone’s going to think I’m trying to rape you or something."

Haha! I love it XD ... AND WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?! :D
19th-Feb-2007 03:14 am (UTC)
right, so chalk this up on the list of things I never thought I'd do.

Blood and snow.

"Why are we doing this again?" Yamapi blew through his bangs at Jin in exasperation.

"Because. It's part of my master plan."

Yamapi sighed and started cutting another paper snowflake. Fold, fold, fold, until it was small enough. Take the scissors and cut out little patterns, bits of paper fluttering down to the table top; and then unfold, unwrap the paper filigree until instead of paper was a perfect snowflake in his hands. Put the finished snowflake on the pile in the middle of the table, pull another piece of paper off that pile, and fold, fold, fold--

"Ah! Ow." Jin's scissors dropped with a clatter to the table and he clutched his left hand to his chest.

"Are you ok?" Yamapi looked up, concerned. If he'd actually hurt himself, Yamapi figured, he'd be making more noise.

Jin held his left hand out and examined it, still cradled protectively in the right one. "I'm bleeding," he said, finally, holding out a finger for inspection.

Yamapi looked at the profferred finger. There was no blood.
"You're not bleeding."

"Am too." Jin squeezed the fingertip and a single drop of blood oozed out sluggishly. "Look. Blood."

"That's one drop. That's not bleeding." Yamapi retorted.

"It's blood. I'm bleeding." Yamapi could hear the pout without even looking at Jin's face. He sighed again, and reached out and pulled the 'bleeding' finger to his lips, giving it a quick kiss.

"There. You're better. Magic kiss." Yamapi returned Jin's now un-injured finger to him. "Can we stop now?"

"Yes."

Yamapi sighed. Then, "Wait, what did you say? We can stop? Really?"

Jin grinned. "Yup. I told you. It was all part of my master plan."

*giggles*

Jin's master plans are always the best!

I'm so glad you wrote this! ♥
19th-Feb-2007 03:16 am (UTC) - When I feel angsty, I write fluff...
I'm sorry! Me again... And I come bearing the cheesiest piece of fluff ever. I mean, I'm warning you: read this and your teeth are going to rot and you are going to feel nauseous from all the sickening sweetness. But, hey, at least I'm making proper use of one of the theme here.

That being said, here we go...

Mid-February. Snow is covering the ground in a thick blanket of white glittering frozen water. Winter was there.

Wind blew and Tomohisa felt his cheeks reddening under the cold attack. He shoved his gloved hands in the pockets of his black trenchcoat. Under his feet, the snow was cracking. Tomohisa remembered a friend once saying it was one of the most inspiring sound in the world.

His pace faltered as he turned the corner of his street and he inhaled deeply, awed by the sight in front of him. The sun was setting at the other end of the street and the light was bouncing off the freshly snow covered ground producing a superb flame colored landscape. He smiled, exhilaration bubbling inside him. His feet started advancing of their own and he soon found himself rushing toward a fresh, untouched patch of snow. In one swift move, he launched himself and landed on his butt, in the wet and cold matter.

Exhaling a mirthful sort of giggle, he leaned back and spread his whole body in the snow and, slowly, gleefully, he started flapping him arms and legs on his sides. Going up, going down, and up and down. The air was fresh, the snow was melting under him and soaking his coat, his gloves and his scarf, his hair were forming a wet halo around his face, his cheeks were cold and red and he felt so alive! Halting his little dance, he closed his eyes and inhaled deeply. When he exhaled, a little cloud floated above his face for a brief instant before being carried away by the wind. Wasn’t it a perfect night?

“Pi?”

He recognized the familiar voice of his best friend without even seeing him. He heard footsteps in the snow coming closer and tilted his head to the side so he could see him. Jin was breathtakingly beautiful, he thought and smiled, and he was his...

“What are you doing?” Jin asked, not even trying to hide his perplexity at finding his friend laying in the snow, wet and cold.

“I’m making snow angels.” Tomohisa breathed blissfully. “Look.” He added without moving his still extended arms.

Jin smiled and nodded his head. “You’ve got wings.”

“I do!”

Jin laughed and, to Tomohisa, it was the most inspiring sound in the world. He reached forward, toward nothing, but found the hand he knew would be there to help him. Standing up, he wrapped his arms around Jin tighly. Jin responded immediately by doing the same, bringing a warm hand to stroke Yamapi’s cold cheek.

“You’re cold.” Jin said, but from the soft tone he used he might as well have said ‘I love you’ it would have been the same.

Gently, Jin took Yamapi’s hand and lead him home. Glancing one last time at his wings, Tomohisa followed him inside. He would put on dry clothes, make hot chocolate and cuddle with his most important friend. Wasn’t this the perfect night?

ah, I thought that was a really nice line :]
19th-Feb-2007 09:51 am (UTC) - I feel that this theme mocks me in my summer heat
I - I couldn't do blood Lana. Am sorry. T_T

"Jin. I don't want to know do I?"

Jin blinked. "Know what?"

Yamapi sighed and stepped into his apartment. One foot landed in a pile of white feathers and the entire apartment blew up into a white frenzy of again.

He sneezed.

"You're getting into the proper mood already!" Jin said. "Fast work. We're totally bonded." He made half a heart with one hand and thumped it against his chest.

Yamapi opened his mouth soundlessly for a moment, completely lost. He snapped it shut when all Jin did was smile at him and instead, a little tentatively, he asked, "Why's my apartment covered in feathers?"

"These are not feathers Pi," Jin said, beaming. "This is snow. I won't be here for Christmas, so I brought it to us!"

("I hope you know that I'm not cleaning this up."

"But I'm leaving!" Jin protested.

"Not for three weeks you aren't."

"Pi."

"No."

"I'll give you sexual favours for the next week. And you can do anything you like."

"...This may be negotiable.")

The last bit is adorable. Jin clearly knows how to use his...charms to his advantage. ;-)

OMG HAHA!! Definately negotiable Pi!!

.
.
.

Jin walks out of the convenience store, a small bag swinging from his hand.

"What! may I ask, did you have to buy so urgently that you needed to wake me up at 3AM! in the morning for?" Yamapi grits out, tapping a foot impatiently.

Jin blinks and grinns sheepishly.

"Snow cones! I got chocolate and strawberry and cola and lime and OMG! did you know that they even had GREEN TEA!" Jin squeals excitedly.

His friend groans and face palms.

"BAKANISHI! It's COLD, I'm only wearing ONE layer of clothing, I'm tired and you come and tell me that you draggen me all the way to the convenience store to buy SNOW CONES!?"

Jin pouts. "You mean you didn't want to come? With me?" His pout morphs into a sadface.

Yamapi face palms. Again.

"Jin. I. You. URGH! Nevermind. Let's just go back ok?"

The sadface switches to a happyface.

"YAY! We can go try out the condoms I bought!!" Yamapi blinks.

"Huh? Whut?"

"DID YOU KNOW! They have green tea flavoured condoms!!" Jin flails happily.

Yamapi proceeds to drag Jin back to his apartment.

"Pi! Where are we going? I haven't eaten my cones yet!!"

"We," Yamapi says growling,"are going to go try out the condoms. We can even use the snow cones if they mean so much to you!"

"Ooooh!"

There...It's official. I fail at life! DDD:
21st-Feb-2007 02:13 am (UTC)
Nya, no failing. Pin + food + condoms + randomness = always a good mix. ^_~
20th-Feb-2007 05:04 am (UTC)
I have done snow. Now I am here to (sort of) do blood. :]

“The deal was,” Jin reminded Pi exasperatedly, “that whoever came first had to be the other’s slave for the week.”

“I do not remember making such a promise,” Pi huffed.

“We practically wrote it in blood.” At this Jin held up a piece of paper bearing Jin’s exact words and two obviously authentic signatures, all written in red marker. Jin’s not-quite-capital, not-quite-lowercase J stood out next to Yamapi’s scribbled kanji. (“Degawa?” Jin had asked, squinting.)

“Then, I did not come first.”

Jin sighed. “I clearly remember you coming all over my hand, moaning my name right into my ear. In fact, I remember it quite clearly because I wiped that hand all over my cock before I stuck it into you, and you came a second time before I came inside you. Can we please stop arguing.”

“Do I really have to be your slave?” Yamapi scowled.

“Why is it so bad?” Jin threw his hands up in the air. “This is my first command. You take a shower with me, right now.”

“No,” Yamapi refused stubbornly, crossing his arms across his chest.

Fine,” Jin retorted, forcefully pushing his best friend onto the kitchen table. “I’ll give you a choice,” he hissed. “Either you take a shower with me, or I take you right here, right now.”
21st-Feb-2007 12:44 am (UTC)
shower scene next? or kitchen!sex next? Oh, the suspense!

I love the summary backstage references~ And Jin's very detailed memory of who exactly lost the deal and how. *snicker*
23rd-Feb-2007 07:27 pm (UTC) - Brothers don't do each other. Usually.
.. IDEK. It's the best I can come up with at the mo, sry.

---

"Ouch!" Yamapi says and sticks his finger into his mouth, sucking lightly. There's a hurt expression on his face, although Jin is pretty sure Yamapi is exaggerating. It can't be that painful. Blood drips into the snow and Jin's eyes are drawn to it. The dark, dark red on the sparkling white snow is oddly fascinating, beautiful really. And it's Yamapi's blood.

Jin suddenly remembers something he once saw in a movie. An American movie that had been on TV when he was in California, and even though he hadn't been able to understand a word they said (except for when they said 'fuck', maybe), he clearly remembers the two main charactesr intensifiying their friendship by making a blood oath.

"Give me that," he says and takes the box with the sharp edge from Yamapi's hands.

"What the fuck?" Yamapi asks with wide eyes when Jin starts to slide his finger along the sharp edge, "What are you doing?"

"Hold on," Jin says and does it again, two, three times, until finally he winces slightly and his blood drops into the snow as well. With a gleeful smile he holds out his hand to Yamapi. "Now give me your finger."

"What? No!" Yamapi shakes his head and takes a step back. "What for? Do you want to suck it? Have you turned into a vampire?"

"Don't be stupid!" Jin says, but he grins at his best friend. Because really? Being a vampire would be pretty damn cool. "Just give me your finger!"

Yamapi looks at him out of narrowed eyes and it's obvious he is trying to decide whether he can trust Jin or not. After a minute, it seems that the years of pillow fights, instant ramen and heart-shaped handshakes have been enough for Jin to earn Yamapi's trust and he hesitantly holds out is hand.

Jin instantly grabs at and presses his and Yamapi's bleeding fingers together, eliciting a gasp from Yamapi and a gleeful giggle from himself.

"My dear friend," he declares, "We are now blood brothers."

"We are what?" Yamapi asks, absolutely baffled, "I. You. What?"

"Our blood mingled. Thus, we are now blood brothers! We have taken our friendship to the next level!" Jin frowns, because he doesn't see his own excitement mirrored on Yamapi's face.

Then Yamapi's eyes widen and suddenly he is smiling brilliantly.

"Bakanishi!" he says, "Don't you know that there are much better ways of taking a friendship to the next level?"

A few seconds pass. Minutes. There is silence. Yamapi blinks. Jin sneezes.

Then Yamapi grabs Jin's face and kisses him, hard.

YAY!
Jin sneezes. <- I was digging the random of this. ♥
